Spring is well and truly underway, with a fine and warm Sunday out on the Old Road.
After my success with 1/60th of a second (total of 3 photos) - I decided to spend most of the day around there. And because it's such a low percentage shot - I took a lot of photos. That goes some way to explaining why it's taken a week to get the gallery up - I've probably sunk 20 hours into sorting and tweaking the photos - and what remains is 200 photos which I'm happy with. I still have another few hundred car photos to go through - if you're looking for your car - hit me up and I'll prioritise that. For now, it's just the bikes with a few cars earlier in the day.
Thanks to the people who stopped to say "hi". It's always good to be appreciated.
As with all such images, there's definitely a compromise in clarity with such slow shutter speeds. If I didn't think it "worked", you won't find it here. Am certainly interested in feedback if you have a different opinion. You can contact me though this website or over on facebook.
If you think you like them - you should really buy one (or ten!) - the originals are at least 4000px across, and I absolutely guarantee you'll be happy with the outcome. Taking and editing photos takes a lot of time, the equipment and this website costs money. Yada yada yada. I'm also happy to stylise/re-crop etc anything you buy - just send me an email (or facebook also works)
Note: All images are available for free download - click on the download symbol at the top of the page when viewing a single photo.
Note: Purchased images are all at least 4000px across (about 4-5 times the size you see them in the gallery) and do not have the large watermark.
Some shots you can't plan. This one would've been a keeper of the R1 - beautifully crisp. But then along came a Ducati. This is how much motion happens at 1/80th of a second.

At 1/50th of a second - the only thing in this photo in focus is the riders helmet. I think it conveys the focus of riding, and the motion that goes along with it.
