On the promise of "partly cloudy" conditions it was back to the usual haunt between Cowan and Brooklyn. Feeling very clever, i tried to stay on top of the conditions by moving to a faster shutter whenever the sun came out. I would rate the outcome a partial success, but I'd still be happier with less sun so I could get back to my preferred style.
For the record about half the photos were at 1/100th or 1/125th, and the rest were either 1/80th or 1/60th. As much as I hate to admit it - there are some killer shots at the faster speeds, but equally I tossed a lot of technically good shots just because I didn't like them, or they looked too much like another equally good one. That doesn't happen as much at 1/60th.
As usual, patchy light around midday made shooting and editing really challenging - but I think what you'll find in the gallery worked.
Speaking of which - there are 301-ish photos in the gallery, the best of the original 3150 shots.
I do welcome feedback, my style and standards are ever evolving, so if you think something is garbage, feel free to point it out. Maybe I won't do it next time!
If you find something you like - it'd be great if you could value my time and effort by purchasing an image or three. $10 is a screaming deal - I put real effort into each and every photo I publish - the least you could do is buy me a beer. :)
Note: Purchased images are all at least 4000px across (about 4-5 times the size you see them in the gallery) and do not have the large watermark.
