Sunday, 11 August  was the BMW Driver's Club NSW's Supersprint round #7 at Sydney Motorsport Park (aka Eastern Creek) Amaroo Circuit.

It was well attended, with a large contingent of competitors, with BMW's from every era along with a smattering of ring-ins from Porsche, VW, Lotus and a few oriental marques.

Sydney was in the middle of a windstorm (is that even a thing?), and that along with sporadic lighting and the odd patch of rain made for some challenging conditions for photography. It was also bitterly cold!

Despite adverse conditions, I persevered and this gallery is the result.

Mazda RX-7 - Have you checked you brake balance lately?Surprisingly that's tyre smoke, not an engine failure.

Lotus Exige Cup 430I really hope this car is nicknamed Kermit.

3 Series E46 shows a lot can happen in 1/80th of a second.I love the look that motion brings to an image. A car traveling at 100km/h would move over 1/3rd of a meter (~35cm) while the shutter is open.

635 CSiThe only way it could be improved would be paint it black, with John Player Special livery.

BMW 2002ti This sounds AMAZING. E46 M3This thing would be invisible in tall grass, were it not for that wing.

BMW Z4 in Amazing BlueWell, not sure what the official name for that colour it, but "amazing" must be close. The loose M4Opposite lock - this guy was loose.
