Note: Images are sorted. BIKES, then CARS, then BICYCLES.

Well, another double-points long weekend foray down. I wasn't expecting a great deal of traffic, for obvious reasons but at least it means I didn't sink an entire week producing the gallery.

Conditions were partly cloudy - a late start and the end of daylight savings meant that I was shooting in much darker conditions than I have for a while. (COVID restrictions meant I wasn't shooting this time last year). This combined with a lack of interesting traffic left plenty of room for fiddling with camera  settings - and the results were pretty diverse.

I finished the day shooting at 1/40th of a second, which is really very slow. You'll probably be able to recognise these shots later in the gallery. At 80km/h - a bike will move 55cm in that time - so there's a lot of background blur going on. These are definitely my favourite shots - but don't expect to be reading the ASA sticker on your helmet if that sort of thing is important to you :)

In any case - there are 130-ish photos in the gallery, the best of the original 1600 shots.

I do welcome feedback, my style and standards are ever evolving, so if you think something is garbage, feel free to point it out. Maybe I won't do it next time!

If you find something you like - it'd be great if you could value my time and effort by purchasing an image or three. $10 is a screaming deal - I put real effort into each and every photo I publish.  Note now you also have the option to buy yourself a photo, and throw an extra beer my way. No obligation, but if you would like to, now you can.

Note: Purchased images are all at least 4000px across (about 4-5 times the size you see them in the gallery) and do not have the large watermark.
